Free SEO MCP server and Claude skills
A free, open-source (MIT) MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor or any MCP client run real SEO checks on live URLs – no API key, no account, no dependencies. Plus 3 free Claude skills.
The 5 tools
- seo_check_page – title and meta description length, H1, canonical, robots meta and X-Robots-Tag, lang, viewport, Open Graph, JSON-LD types, image alt coverage, word count, and a fix list.
- check_robots_sitemap – parses robots.txt like Google (longest match, * and $), tests Googlebot, Bingbot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, loads your sitemaps and samples URLs for errors, redirects and blocks.
- check_redirects_headers – the redirect chain hop by hop (301 vs 302, loops, HTTPS to HTTP), SEO and security headers, and the http to https redirect.
- check_hreflang – language codes, self-reference, x-default, duplicates, and that every alternate returns 200 and links back.
- audit_title_meta – bulk title and description lengths for up to 25 URLs, with duplicate titles.

Honest limits
It reads raw HTML and doesn't run JavaScript. It checks for common, known problems. It doesn't measure rankings, backlinks or speed, and no tool can guarantee rankings. It only contacts the URLs you ask it to check, and it blocks private and local addresses by default.
