Internal linking planner – a skill for Claude
Maps your internal links, finds orphan pages and broken links, and suggests which pages should link where.
What it checks and does
- Orphan pages and pages with fewer than 3 inlinks
- Broken internal links
- Ranked source-page suggestions by shared topic words
- Anchor-text plan and hub-page structure
Try asking
“Which pages in ./public are orphans, and what should link to /pricing/?”
Script
link_graph.py – Python 3.8+, standard library only, covered by the pack's tests. Claude runs it and reads only the output, so long files don't fill your context.
When Claude uses it
The skill's description, which Claude matches against your request:
Map the internal link graph of a static site or HTML export, find orphan and weakly linked pages, and propose specific new internal links (source page, anchor text, target) based on topic overlap. Use when the user asks about internal linking, orphan pages, site structure, topic clusters/hub pages, or "which pages should link to this one".
